Teclux designed the general lighting for Villa Vuoranta, a nursing home in the maritime surroundings of Vuosaari, which opened in summer 2023 after a major renovation. Originally built in the 70s as a training centre for Alko, the property had over the years.
Deteriorated badly over the years. With the renovation, Vuoranta was restored to its former glory and is now a comfortable home for elderly residents.
NEKO’s SUGAR luminaires were chosen for the lobbies of the nursing home, creating a pleasant and glare-free ambient lighting. The corridor lighting was implemented at the ceiling limit.
