ACE is an association of lighting designers and lighting technicians whose aim is to promote lighting materials and the profession of independent lighting designers and lighting technicians.
Founded in 1995, the association has around 90 members, whose profiles reflect the evolution and richness of the profession. Born of the encounter between skills directly related to light, but originally outside architectural and urban design, lighting design and ACE bring together former stage lighting designers, visual artists, technicians and design engineers. Often trained in lighting alongside them, a new generation has emerged in recent years. More feminine, made up of qualified architects, landscape architects and designers, they are giving a new face to the profession. Working on several continents today, ACE members draw on a wealth of experience that respects the different cultures of lighting and the profession.
