Les Maçons Parisiens, Massy, France
A vast and modern building designed by the Desaleux Soares agency. This architectural firm, retained by Les Maçons Parisiens after several successful collaborations, has used simple architecture and chosen durable materials, playing on the juxtaposition of white concrete, aluminum and glass.
NEKO Lighting had to respond to the wishes of the project management on 4 main areas: the reception, the cafeteria, the relaxation area and the conference room. The difficulty of the project was the implementation of a lighting of rooms in glass facade with a very important contribution of natural light.
In the conference room the ceiling has been divided by beams at regular intervals, it was necessary to meet the requirements of a uniformity of light to provide a high visual comfort allowing work on screens while respecting a minimalist aesthetic.
The FUSION Linear System was the best solution to meet all these requirements. The light lines in black profile are placed between acoustic panels with perfect discretion, as well as spotlight modules SL300-2S and SL450-3S for accentuation at the ends and on the side walls. The TAKEO 100 downlights placed between the lines provide a good uniformity of light throughout the space.
The cafeteria and the relaxation area are lit with Accent light modules AL300 from the FUSION Linear System, including directional and discreet spotlights, which allow for consistency and the same layout in these three areas, with some highlights on the bar, tables and bookcases. The choice was made for a temperature of 3000K° (warm white) which gives a warm atmosphere in these spaces. These three spaces are equipped with a system that allows to vary the intensity of the light.
